We stayed on the campsite for the weekend, very warm welcome from the volunteers at the reception. We had a spot next to the pitch used for football and other activities, so it was a bit noisy with the kids playing. For kids its a real paradise! If you traveling without kids, ask/hope for a spot further up the property in the woods. The amenities are very modern and clean!

Back to the 50s: no more hot water in the rooms, your dentist will be happy as he will see you more often due to rincing your mouth with cold water that cracks the ivory of your teeth, further I remember my grandma who fought to get warm water access just in her kitchen, don't worry you can queue up at the one and only non private sink having warm water on the floor, btw the douches are still made by and for men: the water hits your head, there is no douche with a handle in the ladies showers. The comfort went from basic, fine with me, to uncomfortable, next step is probably no heating in the room, or replace the bulbs in the rooms by candles. For you to know: gas burners in the kitchen have been replaced by induction, therefore bring with you a steel contact plate if you use your own aluminium italian expresso percolater.
