We left the constant noise of the Pijp, dreaming of peace and quiet in a cute little trolley at the campsite. Ah, the tranquility we imagined! But, plot twist: a festival decided to drop the bass right next door till 1 AM. The best part? We read the reviews before and thought, ‘Nah, it won’t happen to us!’ Spoiler alert: It did. Don’t get me wrong, we loved the stay at Camp side, but that ‘serene getaway’ turned into ‘rave night under the stars!’

Not the most well maintained place to stay, but honestly to the right person, it gives the park its rustic and lived in charm. Its not fancy, but highly atmospheric and calm. Truly a most recommendable place to camp out for tree huggers, hippies and all other sort of folk that love the outdoors. Its close to a proper and lovely village and many lovely forrestries. Delightfull and affordable! Edit: Personally it's my favorite camp spot in the north because of this. I hate it when there's open clearings with perfectly trimmed hedges and grass and toilet buildings with glaring lights and music. This place feels like you're camping in a proper forrest and you can make it as glam or toned down as desired. People are relaxed and the weekend lake diners are just such a nice option to have there. It's one of those campings where it's beautiful even if it rains. Especially if it rains i'd say.

Hey there! So, let me start by saying that our recent camping trip was quite the adventure. The place itself was pretty good, with some nice facilities and all that jazz. But oh boy, did we get a surprise! It turns out, the campground decided to throw a two-day Harley Davidson party, and they didn't bother telling anyone in advance. Now, I know what you're thinking: "What's wrong with a little surprise party?" Well, picture this: a bunch of old folks revving their Harley engines like it's a heavy metal concert, and the speakers blasting out Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin tunes like there's no tomorrow. It was like our peaceful camping getaway had turned into a rock and roll extravaganza! I mean, don't get me wrong, we love a good jam session as much as the next person, but when you're trying to enjoy the tranquility of nature, it's a whole different story. Those bikers really know how to shred it on their air guitars! And the midnight concerts? Well, let's just say we had a hard time deciding whether to dance or join a headbanging competition. On the bright side, we got a front-row seat to some pretty epic performances by the seasoned bikers. In all seriousness, it would have been nice to get a heads-up about the "rock and roll takeover" of the campground. But hey, sometimes the best memories are made when things don't go as planned. We can now proudly say we survived a heavy metal camping trip with the legendary Harley Davidson crew. So, if you're up for a camping experience that includes unexpected concerts and a chance to unleash your inner rock star, this might just be the place for you. Just remember to pack your leather jacket and air guitar for the full experience! Rock on and camp on, KP
