In addition to three beautiful cats you will be welcomed by the owner who can't hide the fact that she truly loves her campsite and her guests. We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful, well-maintained campsite. We received a warm welcome with coffee and a cookie in the campsite's cozy living room. There is all kinds of information there regarding hiking, cycling, museums, etc. There is a cupboard with books to read, and games are also available. The sanitary building is very clean. If you have reduced mobility, the necessary aids and an accessible shower are available. For daily groceries, there is a supermarket 2 km away in Nieuw Roden. In the center of Roden, there are quite a few different shops. You can seek out the hustle and bustle, but for peace and quiet, this campsite is definitely recommended. Plus, the beautiful surroundings with nature reserves and charming villages.
