We've been home for two weeks now after a three-week stay at the campsite. And honestly... some reviews are completely wrong! We received a warm and friendly welcome, and they clearly explained exactly where we could pitch our caravan. The sanitary facilities were simply neat and clean (cleaned at least three times a day), and if you clean up after yourself, it stays tidy too! There was also plenty to do for all ages. Lots of activities were organized. The staff are super friendly and work incredibly hard to ensure everyone has a great holiday. Our children loved it! And when the children are happy, so are we!

There are reviews on there that we hardly understand. We ourselves had a super holiday there. Not a single complaint regarding the organization, the food, or the sanitary facilities. The cleaning team can do little about people making a mess of things themselves. Jan de Vries handles the catering there... very good food for little money. All kinds of music nights were organized... absolutely great. Then I read negative things here and there about the campsite owner. That may be true, but the man has a wonderful character. My son had to leave France unexpectedly due to forest fires. No problem, Jacob... I'll sort it out. Just let him come here and I'll arrange something. No sooner said than done. My son had a fun week too. So if you want to know my opinion about the Otterberg in Wijster... I would even give it 5 stars. Thanks again for the super nice stay.
