A great campsite for the traveling traveler, but you can also rent one of the two excellent log cabins on site. Owner Frans takes good care of his guests, and it's always pleasant to spend time on his property. Highly recommended.

Frans Boersma, the owner, is simply a great guy with a very well-equipped campsite! I had initially given him the wrong arrival date when booking a cabin, but this didn't stop Frans from spontaneously offering us a spot in our chosen cabin for the entire duration of our stay (since it was fortunately available). In addition to having access to the cabin and all the washrooms, we were also allowed to use the kitchen/living room in the main house and all the amenities, including the fireplace, which was a real boon during the rather chilly time of year. But that's not all! The day after our arrival, we were offered bicycles at no extra cost, which we gladly and extensively used. Communication was very easy, as both German and English were spoken. Further advantages: The entire site is clean, the showers have hot water, the tent and cabin area is spacious, and there's a barbecue and fire pits available for use or rental. ``` There's no doubt we'll be back again! :)
