Last weekend, we celebrated my husband's birthday with family at Kampari. We had such a wonderfully fun lodge tent, the Jungle. Nice and private, very spacious and tastefully decorated, lovely beds, and our own bathroom. The terrace was large, where we could sit together comfortably. In the evening, we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, watching the starry sky. The family stayed in Lyst Hus, and the beds there were fantastic too. My in-laws, with their own camping equipment, were on a very spacious pitch with private sanitary facilities. The covered area was great because it rained a bit in the evening and we had rented the pizza oven. We baked delicious pizzas, and it was fun to do! The next day, we went with the children to the farm a little further away, where Willem gave us a nice tour past the calves and the milking robot. It was nice to see. We all enjoyed this lovely place and the fun activities!

We spent last week at Kampari. Wendy's welcome was incredibly friendly. We were assigned a pitch for our caravan, and we were immediately shown the lovely private bathroom facilities. Later that day, Willem also came over to meet us. The campsite is beautifully situated in the Frisian countryside. Although our wife wasn't immediately enthusiastic, we booked a sailing trip with Willem anyway, promising a smooth sailing experience. And what a wonderful day it turned out to be! Wonderfully warm weather, a strong wind, and great company. You don't need anything more on a sailboat. There was a bit more wind than expected, but skipper Willem proved to be an excellent skipper and certainly didn't betray our wife's trust. We had a wonderful sail to Sloten, enjoyed lunch there, and then returned to our home port. A truly beautiful day. In short, the campsite, the owners, and the activities offered leave us with no choice but to give it the maximum number of stars. Kampari is highly recommended.

Highly recommend! For a relaxing break away from the city this was perfect - Willem and Wendy are very friendly, the safari tent we stayed in was well equipped, the hot tub was an added bonus. Will come back for sure
