Beautiful campervan site with waterfront spots. We were in spot 1, a great spot with a good view of the Eleven Cities Bridge. Behind the dike lies the IJsselmeer. Stavoren and Hindeloopen are charming towns and easily accessible by bike. You can use the campsite's restrooms almost opposite the campervan site. There's also a wastewater and chemical toilet disposal point there. There's a tap at the campervan site itself for fresh water.

We made a reservation, which is important as the site is quite popular. Electricity is available on-site, as is a water tap. There's a view of the dam. The parking bays are a good size. The only thing that disturbs the peace is the slamming of the iron gate, which every cyclist has to open at the dam. The nearest towns are 3 and 5 km away and easily accessible by bike. Towards evening, expect a swarm of mosquitoes, which emerge hungry from the small waterway in front of the site. The staff is friendly, and the toilets at the campsite (which you have to use) are clean. Don't forget your leveling blocks! The price is around €25.00 per night. There's a parking lot adjacent to the site. Parking a campervan at the campsite is more expensive!

Bad experience, surly staff and no willingness to understand. One of the worst places in Holland. They don't even deserve one star.
