Lovely, quiet campsite with friendly owners. Beautiful horses on the campsite. Beautiful location on Lake Tjeukermeer. Clean sanitary facilities. Very peaceful surroundings.

Super nice campsite with good and very clean sanitary facilities. A water tap right near the caravan and good, relaxed service. Our daughter could enjoy horseback riding and even jumping there. There are lots of nice Frisian villages and towns in the area, and Lake Tjeukemeer is close by. Friendly owners. We will definitely be back with a postcard! In short, a nice holiday!

I recently stayed at this beautiful glamping site and overall, the experience was lovely. The location, the atmosphere under the big tent, and the nearby stables made for a truly special setting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected the quality of our stay. One was a loud party at a neighboring farm, which was tolerable – but much more disturbing was the continuous shouting of a child from a nearby tent, starting as early as 6 AM. It wasn't regular play, but rather constant yelling at family members. In contrast, the tent directly across from us also had children, but they were quiet and respectful, which shows that peaceful family camping is absolutely possible. As someone who often chooses to stay in tents and glamping spots, I was hoping for a more relaxing atmosphere – especially considering the price of €180 per night. Sadly, the behavior of some other guests, particularly the lack of respect for others' peace and space, made the experience less enjoyable. This is not a criticism of the place itself – which has great potential – but more of a reflection on how the behavior of guests can affect others. Perhaps clearer guidelines or quiet hours might help ensure everyone has a pleasant experience. We may return one day, but most likely just to visit the stables again, which were truly the highlight of our trip.
