Friendly and hospitable owners. The campsite and sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. We spent two weeks there with our caravan, and it's a beautiful area for cycling. Balk is just around the corner, and all the shops there are pleasantly situated along the canal.

Just back from Jachtlusthoeve campsite. What a lovely little campsite! Very friendly owners who go above and beyond to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Beautiful spacious pitches, neat and clean sanitary facilities, charming little touches like a reception open all day, well-maintained flowerpots, and candles burning in the lanterns in the evening. A lovely, cozy log cabin with all sorts of information and, if needed, a place to sit for a while for campers with small tents. Reservations are recommended, as the campsite is often full (understandably!)! A definite recommendation for campers looking for a quiet campsite.

Camping experience in June with our own camping equipment. Friendly welcome, lovely couple who manage it. A beautiful small campsite with well-maintained greenery. Car-free, wonderful!! A busy road runs alongside the campsite; if the wind blows in the wrong direction, you're out of luck because you'll hear it clearly. Otherwise, a quiet campsite. From the back field, you have a partially unobstructed view of fields. Private water tap for every two pitches and excellent Wi-Fi throughout. A greywater tank for campers, excellent bike storage. The sanitary facilities and dishwashing areas are excellent, super clean, and what lovely, spacious showers! No fiddling around here to keep your things dry. Ladies and gentlemen share a single area, yet cleverly divided into separate sections. A charming log cabin with information about the area and a bookcase for swapping. (For antiques enthusiasts: see the review of 'Stal4'!) There's a nice dog walk through the back entrance of the campsite. It's often the little things that stick in your memory; for us, this will be 'the campsite with the candles'. There are several lanterns outside the cabin and the restrooms, where tea lights burn every evening. So lovely! We'd love to come back again, so see you soon, Anneke and Egge 🌼
