Really nice place to stay, cool peacocks and a beautiful lake. Friendly part of the world and the trees are amazing. Thoroughly recommend. Great bike ride into town.

Adjacent to some type of vineyard or orchard. Wooded with grassy sites and peacocks strolling about. Mostly quiet, with some road noise from the nearby highway. Generally a beautiful spot, but... no toilet paper anywhere to be found. A canteen and reception that is never open (all check in and check out done by notes that are left for you). You must pay for hot water in both showers and the washing up sink, and no possibility of warm water for hand washing. The grass needs cutting, making for very wet feet in the morning. Also the directions from Googlemaps are not helpful!

This is a charming little site, set in a rural environment with a mix of holiday and touring accommodation. Pitches are nicely divided by hedges and the site sits in a wooded oasis surrounded by farmland. Prices are very reasonable, especially given that electricity is included. Showers, yes, 50c for a good long soak in consistent hot water. Better, though, than a higher price per pitch. The reception area isn't open all the time, but this is not a €35+ Eurocamp site. Please ignore any negative comments, as I suspect that many of these are from people who don't really understand camping and would be better off in a hotel - although they probably won't want to pay what it costs! We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.
