Ideal for families with children. It's still a bit like camping on a farm, so you have to put up with the mosquitoes. Trading electricity for an oil lamp and some candles for a few days also takes some getting used to. But you can also walk around the farm, and a tour quickly teaches the children where the milk really comes from. There's a super cute hay barn that our children found hard to get out of. We'll definitely be back... we already miss that fresh milk.

Our second stay in a boerenbed and this was even better then the last! Thanks Cor and Anja and Janneke for a great stay! The kids absolutely loved it, and so did we!

We were apparently the first of the season this year and couldn't have had a more welcoming and relaxing experience here! This is a working farm with lots going on, but Cor and Anja and the rest of the family made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and were more than happy to give us a tour including seeing some of the cool robotic milking machines in action. The site has a little shop with some essentials as well as wine and cheese which is great and there's a mini mart nearby if you need anything not there. The tents are very comfortable and have no power to them, meaning you can properly switch off in the evening. Our kids loved the cupboard bed and in fact the whole experience. They played endlessly in the sandpit, bombed around the farm on the go karts, played in the tractor and trampoline and were in their element the entire time. I couldn't recommend this place enough, we had a really lovely time.
