If you love peace and quiet, and beautiful surroundings for walking or cycling, then this is the place for you. We have had a seasonal pitch here since 2016 and find complete relaxation here. The pitches are spacious and the campsite is neatly maintained. It is close to Valburg and Elst, and there is a pancake restaurant nearby. The managers are super friendly, hard-working people. We hope to come here for years to come. If I had to mention one downside? If the wind comes from a certain direction, you can hear the highway. But we absolutely do not find this disturbing.

This campsite is right next to the fantastic lake "Slijk Ewijk" with plenty to do. Subletting, playground equipment, and a cafeteria are available. And there's a pancake house nearby. Beautiful surroundings, a lovely walking route around the lake. We're staying in a mobile home, but there's also a field for hikers for shorter stays. Well-maintained and a lovely campsite. In the beautiful Betuwe region. Close to Arnhem and Nijmegen. With a friendly owner. Lovely people. A 6-minute drive away in Oosterhout is a huge, beautiful Lidl, and a little further on you're in Nijmegen. This place has everything for a wonderful holiday. The lake "Slijk Ewijk" is within walking distance. A very nice place, highly recommended.

What started as a fantastic adventure with a few initial hiccups ended in a deeply sad ending. The initial hiccups involved the neighbors on the path, but that's what the management is for, right? Well, no, SHE loudly proclaims she's the boss and her word is law. But keeping the peace by mediating is out of the question. I would never, ever want to stay there again, and if you have a touring caravan, don't go there either!!! Old trash, self-interested people who don't follow their own rules. And especially ENGLISH-SPEAKING people, please stay away because she's discriminatory.
