Really enjoyed my three stays at the campsite. Great facilities, very helpful staff and nice walk into town. There's a pony club on the premises, be warned if you're a man travelling on your own, don't look at the ponies if they walk past your camp or the owners wife will look at you like you're a sexual predator and usume your looking at children. Yikes!!!

I don't recommend this camping. The 18:00 closing time is way too early. People might experience trouble on the road and cannot make it to the camping at that time. If you don't want people to come in after that time, just shut the gates and give a code to guests who can come in and out. There is no need to hang around and lecture people about coming in when the gate is clearly open. If you can do that, then you might as well check people in, it takes 2 minutes. Otherwise, the highway is way too loud but that's not the camping's fault. I think the shower and toilet are acceptable but you might want to look at/replace some of the chargers in the bathrooms. Also, maybe wipe the bird poo off the outside tables.

Horrible for cycle tourists - avoid. Hard close for registration at 1800 in the summer (really?!) means we had to abandon our plans to stay there lest we couldn't get in. Cycle tourists need a reasonably late check in, preferably 2030 or later to provide margin for mechanical issues, etc.
