The location is exceptionally convenient – just a 5-10 minute walk to the metro, making it incredibly easy to explore Amsterdam. The entrance has a security gate, and vehicles cannot enter after 11 PM, which adds to the feeling of safety. The restrooms are plentiful and clean. However, the shower system is a significant drawback. You must purchase tokens in advance, with each token granting only 5 minutes of water. We arrived at 10 PM when the shop was already closed, unable to buy a single token – the vending machine only offered options for two or five tokens at a time. Additionally, the high placement of the showerhead results in weak water pressure, unnecessarily extending shower time. Switching to a coin-operated system would be a much better solution.

How disappointing not getting a refund! We first wanted to stay 5 days then we decided to leave after day to but return later this month ( because of the dentist made another appointment two weeks later) REFUND OR RESCHEDULE was no option even the campsite was almost empty. BE WARNED not to pay upfront because you don't get your money back! Happy ending for us the campsite got in touch with us and we where allowed to hook up at a later date!

Stayed end of September 2025 as a couple in a motorhome. This is a very large well organised site with good clean sanitaires. There are a variety of pitches. However it was very quiet when we visited but in high season would have been too packed in for us as we generally prefer small locations. It is an excellent place for visiting Amsterdam.
