Beware of the low emissions zone! I couldn't go to the campsite because they failed to send the necessary exemption code for the Amsterdam low-emission zone in time. I was left stranded in the evening, risking a massive fine for my motorhome. Their office was closed and they didn't respond to my emails in time. They should not have let me book or provide me with the code automatically if they aren't available. When I explained the situation, they refused to refund my money, claiming it's my fault for not checking the zone rules but I would have been able to go if they had provided the code in time. Terrible customer service and zero accountability. They kept my money even though their lack of support is what stopped me from staying. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere that actually cares about its guests.

Wonderful, functional camping site with good, clean infrastructure. Surrounded by nature and still only 10-15 minutes by bike from the city center. You can buy a tent on arrival and if you stay for a week pretty much pay less altogether than if you go into one of Amsterdam's horrible, overpriced hostels. The atmosphere is great, sometimes there is even free food. You can cook in the kitchen and rent a bike.

Great campsite. Stayed late-ish autumn, end of November/December. The 1971 was comfy. If you needed to do some wfh, it is surprisingly spacious, it’s alright if you have a good data pack. There’s wifi, which is most reliable at reception, there are some tables and chairs there with music playing in the background, from TLC to the Cure and Mazzy Star. Centrally located. Quite a unique spot. A small onsite shop for your basics, a small beach, lots of greenery, goats and a pully ferry to get from one isle to the other (a road too) and more. Felt less landlocked. Friday morning check-in staff was great. Would love to visit in spring when the cafe/bar/restaurant is open. It feels like you’re escaping the city for a moment there while staying in the city.
