Well, this is the place to be for real Texel lamb. I, as a butcher who has always sold real lamb in my shop in Amsterdam for 33 years, am now on vacation for 5 days and enjoying our well-deserved rest here, and we are going to enjoy some delicious lamb tonight. So, lamb lovers, if you go to Texel and love lamb, then this is the place to be. Grrr, an artisan butcher from Amsterdam.

Wonderful hosts! We stayed at the holiday home Het Schap and it was fantastic. Superb facilities, plenty of space, a private garden, spacious rooms, two bathrooms and three toilets, and separate bedrooms for the children. When new sheep arrived, the children were allowed to be right next to them and help. Free-range chickens and a cat also came to visit... Everything was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

Veery nice camping. Very quiet, very clean and friendly hosts. I only stayed there for one night but I really enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to see sheep shearing while I was there. I woke up in the morning with the sound of a roster and sheeps, the sounds of nature 😁
