Update 2025: Our long weekend in May was wonderful again! We'd love to come back. Long weekend with our own camping gear. This spot just adds a little more to our wish list because we'd love to come back 🌸 A very friendly welcome, even when booking by phone. Quiet campsite with spacious pitches, beautifully maintained greenery. The grassy walking paths outside the campsite are also kept tidy. The pitches directly on the Linderbeek stream (a tap and drainage point for two pitches) are great if you enjoy sitting by the water. Ducks swing by every day, checking if there's anything left to nibble on. Two neat sanitary buildings: spacious, clean, and incredibly tidy. A nice covered dishwashing area with hot water from a separate hot tap. A good camper service area. Spacious covered bicycle storage. A bad-weather area with a bookcase for swapping books. The camping fields are mostly pitch black at night, with only sporadic lighting. The campsite isn't just for adults; there are also fields with children's play facilities. Especially for young children, but I'm not sure I'd dare let them play freely. They're so close to the water everywhere, so being able to swim is essential in my opinion. The hot water tap for washing dishes at our sanitary building was low enough for much-too-small hands. You can walk along the Linderbeek stream right from the campsite. It's a beautiful area for cycling. Den Ham (a 10-minute bike ride) is a small village with not much to do in the way of shopping. But all the necessary groceries can be found at two supermarkets. The Jumbo looks like a miniature local supermarket behind a picturesque village facade on the village square, but appearances can be deceiving: a huge supermarket is hidden behind it! The terrace on the village square next to the church is a charming place to enjoy drinks under the trees. The cycle route to Vroomshoop (about a 30-minute bike ride) is beautiful, but the town itself...let's put it this way: we cycled straight back. For those interested: a fun thrift store in Den Ham, brilliantly named "TweedeHams" (Second Hams). (In 2025, my dog was suddenly no longer allowed inside. Not even in a bag! 😕)

Affordable campsite including water and electricity. Friendly welcome and a nice cycling map. We stayed at pitch No. 1 with running water and a view of the water where a lot of fishing was taking place. The campsite owner could be seen regularly maintaining the waterfront. Spacious pitches and fresh-looking sanitary facilities with the option to disinfect toilet seats. Separate tap with very hot water for washing up. (Nice for washing up, but a sign or warning sign for children is highly recommended.) We enjoyed the peace and quiet, even though the weather wasn't great. Beautiful surroundings for cycling.
