Well, I’m laying in my tent at 1:30 in the morning listening to some bloke a few hundred yards away cutting wood with a chain saw on a Friday night and moving it with heavy machinery ….and a drip…drip…drip coming from somewhere…. Bring ear defenders for a peaceful nights sleep ! Might be ok any other time…. Just picked the wrong night to stay.

We were hiking and spontaneously booked a spot for the same day. The family that runs this camping site is very sweet and helpful. The price was amazingly low considering they even had a pool (perfect for refreshing in the morning before continuing hiking) as well as a Tennis/Basketball field and WiFi at the reception. Great fries as well. The sanitary building on site is not a brick building and looks a bit old, but it fits its purpose. Showers are free. Possibility to wash your clothes and dump chemical waste from caravans.
