A wonderful, peaceful campsite with relaxed guests and lovely hosts Henk and Betsie. The campsite doesn't have electricity, but the restrooms are spotlessly clean! There are some toys and play equipment for small children, but not much for teenagers unless they also enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and cycling or hiking! We thoroughly enjoyed the small fire on our own little barbecue. My camping companion slept in a hammock between the trees, and I snuggled in the tent until the cows woke up, which was our alarm clock. It's been about three years since we last stayed there, but the memory is as good as yesterday! We'll definitely be back!

A nature campsite in the heart of the Springendal nature reserve. We were able to choose our own spot upon arrival. The campsite is basic and there's no lighting or electricity, not even in the restrooms. So a flashlight is a must. 😊 The restrooms look well-maintained. Spots on the edge of the meadow are best because of the view.

Beautiful location but very expensive for a basic campsite without amenities: no hot water for dishes, 50 cents to shower, key needed for cold water outside, very long grass on pitches, dirty sand for the playground. Traveling with a small caravan is more expensive then with a tent even though there is no electricity.
