We stayed overnight at the Kalverweide last weekend. Incredibly hospitable and friendly. The tent with a hot tub is definitely recommended! The kids had a blast: riding around on go-karts, collecting eggs in the morning, counting cows, feeding Lapje (the pig), and endless trampoline jumping.

Last weekend we stayed with Goos and Femmie at De Kalverweide. We received an incredibly warm welcome. You feel right at home here immediately. We had a wonderful time, with the highlights being the lovely hot tub, the fireplace in the tent, and the cozy and delicious pizza evening. We will definitely be back.

Our holiday was FANTASTIC! We really had such a lovely week; the children and we had a wonderful time. The sun was shining, the fire was warm, and we enjoyed the animals on the farm. Two calves and kittens had been born, and the process with the robotic milking machine was fun to watch. My daughter went to get eggs from the chickens every day and came back with whole stories about which chicken had laid an egg and which hadn't. They all had little friends and were playing all day long. In the evening, tired and content, they went to sleep really well. I have experienced it differently before, where they were completely overstimulated and still weren't asleep by 11 pm. My husband loved making a fire, and I did quite a lot of reading in the hammock; truly fantastic! We are happy with this experience and will probably go to BoerenBed more often 😊.
