A very neat campsite with a friendly welcome. Neat and clean restrooms. Beautiful, secluded private pitches are also available. A quiet area with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. Raalte is 4.5 km away, with many shops and a Harley-Davidson museum.

Very nice, private pitches that are spacious and sheltered. Very clean toilets and showers. The entire campsite looks very well-maintained. It's run by a young owner who, I believe, manages the campsite with his mother's help. There are plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities. Beautiful nature reserves are nearby. You'll need to plan your own cycling route. When we were there, there were many older people at the campsite who, I think, were having a great time. The campsite is highly recommended, and you can store your bikes in the bike room, which is always locked with a locker. Personally, I find this annoying, but at least it's locked. (A safety tip for the campsite manager: I would turn off the electricity at night due to fire hazards. People also charge their bikes at night, posing a greater risk of fire.) Hot water takes a while, and I personally find the shower water disappointing because you constantly have to push the button. The shower head is a soft stream. There's a water tap nearby and electricity is available. All in all, I would definitely visit this campsite again.

The campsite is located in the rural area of ​​Mariënheem. It's a quiet area, 4 km from Raalte (shops). The campsite has a park-like feel. There's a hedged area between the pitches, as well as an open lawn. There's an outdoor shower. The sanitary facilities are excellent and kept spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is beautiful for cycling. You can also visit museums: 't Nijenhuis, Heino; Mariënheem Sculpture Garden; or the Luttenberg clog workshop. During our visit in May 2025, Schoonhetenseweg was closed due to roadworks. So be careful. One minor drawback, in our opinion, was the limited contact with the owners. We don't prefer to say goodbye via the intercom.
