Great campsite, but a bit dated. The sanitary facilities were clean but basic. It would have been better to have no sponges at the sinks than old ones. Unfortunately, there were no water taps at the campsite, and the electricity had to be connected through the bushes. Every now and then you can hear the train between Zwolle and Deventer or the traffic on the dike. The grounds were a bit sloppy, and there were some minor unevenness in the fields, which wasn't always pleasant when walking to the sanitary facilities. The owner is really super friendly and welcoming, and his humor is infectious. Beautiful surroundings for cycling, and Deventer is just a short distance away.

We had a wonderful weekend in beautiful surroundings, cycling extensively around Olst, Wijhe, Twello, and Deventer. The campsite is centrally located, with a beautiful view and peace and quiet, and you occasionally hear the sheep bleating after milking. The sanitary facilities are clean, not modern but certainly fit the campsite. If the weather is bad, you can relax in the barn. There you'll find reading material, a dishwashing area, ice cream, a refrigerator, and a stove. Definitely worth repeating.

A lovely place to stay! We stopped here on a cycle tour and found a quiet, beautiful campsite with clean facilities and showers. It had everything we needed, and everyone here was warm and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stop. This was one of our favorite campsites to date.
