The two of us stayed in a small bungalow with a sauna, whirlpool, bathtub, and infrared shower. There was a well-equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and microwave/oven) and a TV with Netflix. Everything was very well-maintained and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We each received a large and a small towel and a bathrobe. The whirlpool was wonderfully warm and enjoyable both with and without the bubbles. We also had a lovely view of a stream and fields with sheep. There was a small outdoor sofa on the terrace. The service was excellent (all our questions were answered quickly via WhatsApp, and there was an app with all the important information), and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shopping options nearby if you have a car. There's a bread delivery service in the mornings, and there's also a small shop in the village. We also took an afternoon trip to Deventer, which was well worth it. It's a charming little town with many lovely shops, both large and small. We will definitely come back when we need to relax.

We stayed at pitch 78 with a private restroom cabin. It was generally clean and functionally equipped. Hot water was available and delivered quickly, but the water pressure dropped significantly very quickly during showering, until at the end only a weak stream came from the shower head. Absolutely inadequate for a relaxing shower. It's a shame that, according to other guests, this well-known problem has been reported several times but never addressed. The pitch is located directly on the main road and is nevertheless quite quiet. Unfortunately, some drivers behave as if they were at the Nürburgring in the Eifel region, driving well over 10 km/h. Another major problem: Pitch 78 has two mighty oak trees that shed massive amounts of leaves and acorns in the fall. Our caravan roof ended up looking like a crumb cake. This still needs to be fixed. Such pitches simply shouldn't be allocated during the season. The power supply is also disappointing: With only 10 amps of protection, it's barely enough to run both the refrigerator and the convection oven simultaneously – the refrigerator then beeps cheerfully because the fuse blows. This is unacceptable for a modern campsite. Positive: The site as a whole is beautifully designed, spacious, and well-maintained. Hikes in the neighboring nature reserves are highly recommended. The restaurant impresses with delicious beers, soft drinks, and a successful winter menu – it's worth a visit. Conclusion: A beautiful campsite with potential, but unfortunately, pitch 78 is not recommended in its current form.

I had a bitter experience with this campsite. I booked a room on booking.com at one price, but the campsite management demanded I pay a tourist tax that wasn't listed on the website. I also didn't fill out the form that required me to provide the details of the people staying at the hotel (for some reason, I didn't fill out the form, as I could have done so upon check-in). I was denied check-in!!! Absolutely unacceptable behavior!!! I do not recommend!!!
