Nice campsite with direct access to the water and various facilities for good family holidays.

Really nice location, clean and decently equipped, with a lot of entertainment, especially for children. Chalet was very tight - there was 2 bedrooms for 2 persons, bathroom and living space witch kitchen on bit more than 30 square metres. To open the bathroom you had to close the door from bedroom and you need to close the fridge doors to get to other bedroom.

Found this site using the out-of-season discount card. A large site on the banks of Veerse Meer with fabulous views of the lake when walking around the site. Most pitches on the edge of the lake are long-term; which is fair enough considering the discount received. The cycling from the site is fabulous with well-marked cycleways across the area. The reception on arrival was welcoming and English spoken. Given the opportunity to walk this large site to select your pitch, after a busy season some of the available pitches were bare of grass. Found a pitch not too bad and the weather while there was sunny and dry so no mud issues while there. Only 4* unfortunately as there was a dog mess on our pitch, a site operative stopped to check if we had the right pitch. We had already bagged the poo he took it with him along with the litter we had picked up. Apart from that hiccup the facilities around the site were clean and regularly maintained. All the facilities were still available for use. We had a great time.
