We received a very warm welcome with our motorhome at the 't Hommeltje campsite in early September, with a welcome bag full of information, snacks, and a wooden dish brush with the word 't Hommeltje on it. We were very comfortably seated on the site and felt at home. The owner was always willing to listen, spoke good German, and was very friendly. The restrooms were very clean, albeit unisex. You could buy potatoes, onions, and eggs in the yard. Wi-Fi was available. The nearest town, Koudekerke, with its bakery, ALDI, and other stores, was 2 km away. The beach and the nearest larger towns, Middelburg and Vlissingen, were also within easy cycling distance. Last but not least, the owner even gave us a discount since it was the end of the season. She was truly super nice, as were all the Dutch people we met.

A small campsite, beautifully and centrally located in Koudekerke, between Vlissingen and Middelburg. Incredibly beautiful pitches, fantastic campervan facilities, and spotless restrooms. Playground equipment for children, a lovely indoor area for rainy or cold weather, and convenient central parking. There's also a covered area where you can park and charge your electric bike, for example. Very friendly and helpful owners! I'd definitely love to come back!
