Wonderful for children who love horses

An absolute gem of a campsite with plenty of options to stay, and a broad range of horse-focused activities. You can bring your own tent, caravan or camper, or rent a safari tent, luxury tent or one of the many cabins. During summer, there are many activities. The activities range from pizza night (Friday) to ghost hunt for kids (with a horse and carriage), and from mini disco to handicraft hour. 6 days a week, they organize a free “paardenuurtje” (horse hour) where the kids spend 2 hours (10am until noon) around the ponies, playing games etc. Next to the free activities, they also offer horse riding lessons, outdoor horse riding, horse and carriage driving lessons. They have several ponies and larger draft horses. The atmosphere at the campsite is very friendly. The staff is well-organized and very friendly as well. The camping canteen offers a wide range of breakfast products, including but not limited to sandwiches, home-made jam and fresh eggs. The sanitation is modern, well-maintained, and clean. All in all, this is a great campsite, especially if you or your kids have a love for horses!

Small campsite (approximately 60 pitches) with one theme: horses. So, the fellow campers during our holiday there (3 weeks) were mainly families with daughters aged 5 to 12. Perfect for us; we have 3 daughters aged 5 to 10, so lots of friends. Pleasant atmosphere at the campsite, nice and helpful staff, spacious pitches. 2 hours of entertainment six days a week (brushing ponies, games, riding). Clean sanitary facilities. And a remarkable number of extras for such a small campsite (e.g., meals several times a week, sandwiches available to order, breakfast, trail rides). Ten-minute drive to the sea (Cadzand Bad), many fun day trips around the corner (e.g., Bruges). PS. Our tent was in front of the meadow where the horses were kept; the majority of the tents are on spacious pitches in rows – so it depends on your preference.
