Everything that needs to be said about the hostess has already been said in other reviews. Incredibly unfriendly, sometimes downright rude. The grass is completely muddy when it rains, so campers should park on narrow wooden planks. The playground is unusable and completely dilapidated. The sanitary facilities are old and cramped. 42 euros per night for a pitch with two adults and three small children is completely outrageous. The owner doesn't issue invoices, even though customers are entitled to one under Dutch law. You can guess why... We will definitely not be coming back. There are much better options for the price.

This time I stayed at the campsite, having rented a room there 12 years ago. Not much has changed, but I did notice that the sanitary facilities have been modernized. Everything was very clean. Perhaps it's because the summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia hadn't quite started yet, but overall it was one of the quietest and tidiest campsites I've ever been to; Mrs. Joziasse runs a tight ship ;) A 20-minute bike ride to the beach via Oostkapelle – ideal – we'll definitely be back.

We cycled past, rang the doorbell, and asked the old man if there was any space. He was absolutely not friendly or hospitable. When we asked what the price was (cash) and if electricity was included, the man immediately started complaining about how much we were worth and about his solar panels, so we didn't park there. Never experienced that before. Carpe diem?
