About camping in Bavarian Forest

Forested hills along the Czech border in eastern Bavaria, with the oldest national park in Germany. Campsites are spread through the valleys and along the Danube between Straubing and Passau. It is quieter and cheaper than the Alps, and cooler than the plains in high summer.
