About camping in Eifel
Low wooded mountains between Aachen, Trier and the Rhine, close to the Belgian and Luxembourg borders. Volcanic crater lakes, the maars, are the landmark, and many campsites lie along small rivers such as the Our, the Prüm and the Ahr. The Nürburgring is in the middle, so race weekends fill the nearby sites.
