About camping in Lübeck Bay and East Holstein

The Baltic coast north of Lübeck, from Travemünde and Scharbeutz up to Grömitz, Dahme and the island of Fehmarn, with lakes and rolling farmland inland. Beaches are sandy and shallow, and many campsites sit right behind the dunes or the dyke. It is the closest stretch of Baltic coast for anyone driving from the west.
