About camping in Moselle
The Moselle winds in tight loops between Trier and Cochem, with steep vineyards on both banks. Many campsites lie right on the river meadows, so they flood in some winters and open from spring. The area is drawn by district, so it also includes the lower Saar valley and part of the Hunsrück and Eifel uplands.
