We spent a wee-end in this beautiful forest camp. Good facilities, very remote and yet close to villages with cafes and restaurants. We will come back soon.

I went here during Buitenkunst, and although everything is new for me, I love the concept of primitive camping. There are no dedicated tent spots. Instead, you are completely free to place your tent on the terrain (within some very broad boarders), and as a consequence, all tents are randomly spread over the terrain. Our one is between trees up a hill, it really feels like camping mid forrest in that sense. There are some places with electricity, but it's not everywhere. During Buitenkunst, everyone has the agreement that nobody uses electricity, except to charge something like a phone, powerbank or flashlight. This forces me to live minimalistic, but it's cool! It's like going back to nature for some sense. There are facilities like toilets and showers. The old showers allow the user to control temperature, and there is no timer. The new showers have a press-button, after which the water streams for 6 minutes. After that, it's off for 3 minutes. There is no possibility to control the temperature, but the set-temperature is not too cold / not too hot, about right. Looking forward to camp here again!
