A beautiful, clean, and quiet campsite surrounded by greenery. The owner was very friendly and takes the time for his guests. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this campsite for a few days between Ascension Day and Pentecost. After a friendly and pleasant welcome (without any frills) from owner Ronald, we pitched our caravan on the Wolvenspoor field. It's a beautiful, green campsite, within walking distance of Vledder, with excellent facilities, under the inspiring leadership (and management) of Ronald, Digna, and their children. The campsite is very diverse (including the camping equipment) and has a slightly Scandinavian feel thanks to the buildings. The sanitary facilities are modern and "green" (and clean). The abundance of birds (and bird sounds) is overwhelming. This also applies to the peace and quiet. There's plenty to do in the area for those who love hiking, cycling, nature, and museums. Frederiksoord (also within walking distance) and surrounding villages are very interesting because of their history (the Proefkolonie). This campsite is especially attractive to couples over 50 and families with young children who appreciate nature and tranquility. During the holiday periods, there are also plenty of organized activities, in keeping with the campsite's character. In short: this one visit to Camping Padjelanta will not be the end of it.
