An up-and-coming holiday park in Drenthe. A good base for exploring the Drenthe-Friese Wold region, as well as cultural excursions in the surrounding towns. The cottage was well-maintained. We rented bikes at reception. It was convenient that we could choose to stay from Friday to Wednesday (other parks often only offer weekends/midweek stays). The park was relatively quiet, which we appreciated. However, new cottages and facilities are still being built, so things are getting a bit more lively. It was February, so we didn't use the outdoor pool.

Brilliant place for a calm vacation, whether in the summer or just a weekend getaway. Friendly staff, modern and homely cabins to sleep at, plenty of activities - including a large outdoor pool - for children and grown ups. All in the pristine nature of Northern Netherlands. Will certainly come back!
