Place is just right for campers and motor campers. If you decide to camp on public holidays, this could be tricky. Since tents are could be in your way, there is no special separation between, motor campers, tent owners or other caravans. So please be careful. Sanitation houses are ok. But do not expect too much of it.

We called in advance and they let us sleep there even though they were not there anymore (we arrived late). The big plus of Camping De Vest is their proximity to Enkhuizen. With a bike you're everywhere in a few minutes! Warm showers are payable with 50 cent coins, a tent for two was 18€ a night.

A nice little site, nice walk along the embankment to the harbour and town. Unfortunately it had been wet and we struggled to pitch on the "special stones" which were hard to see and we got stuck on the wet ground. This is obviously a problem as there was metal mesh at the side to use. My husband tried to use the shower but put his 50c in and it didn't work. Wanted to use the washing machine but it was only available between 9-1pm and when we went next morning we were told it wasn't working and then we saw another customer using it. Handy for Enkhuizen, but feel we paid over the odds €28 (€2 extra per dog).
