We stayed one night at De Braamsluiper. A real bush camp, wonderfully situated right in the middle of nature. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, but that didn't spoil the fun. And because of this, we were really just about the only ones in the woods, so we enjoyed the peace and space twice as much! At the bush camp, there was plenty of room for our tents and the opportunity to make a campfire. There were several ways to reach the camp, but you had to go through the mud/swampy meadow no matter what. A real adventure! :) And outside the bush camp, there is plenty of adventure to be had as well; the Belevenissenbos (Adventure Forest) is a place full of adventure. Lots of climbing and scrambling, getting dirty, and exploring. We highly recommend it.

A really great campsite. You do have to walk a bit to reach your "private" property, but that only adds to the feeling of being truly immersed in nature. There's also plenty for the kids to do, and the sites are truly fantastic.
