It is a nice place in itself, but I wasn't in the best spot, roughly along the road through the village (it feels pretty weird to cook by the road), and unfortunately, the 100km road further away was also quite audible. I had just returned at 7:30 PM and the owner was walking around with a leaf blower, making even more noise. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy, with lovely hot water. There was no Wi-Fi (not a big problem in itself), and the "bar" with Wi-Fi was always locked tight. But more importantly, I didn't really feel very welcome, which is why I didn't really "dare" to ask for a quieter spot. There are many rules, and it felt more like enforcing rules about what wasn't allowed than a pleasant stay. That is why I left early.

We arrived on September 5th and were greeted by the owner. She showed us our spot, which we immediately liked. It was beautifully situated in a corner with a view of the Frisian horses in the meadows on both sides. It was surrounded by an old moat where some ducks were also roaming, frogs were croaking, and the farmer's sheep in the background made the whole experience complete. After settling in, we found our showers, which provided lovely hot water immediately upon use, and the toilets just a few hundred meters away. There was also an outdoor water tap 25 meters from the caravan, which was very convenient and looked excellent. There was also a washing machine and dryer in the building that you could use if you wanted. Everything was in perfect order. We settled up in the evening of September 10th, which was also very pleasant, and left for home the next morning. We will definitely be back; we really enjoyed it there.
