There's still so much to discover! Camping de Roos is a great starting point for exploring Northwest Friesland by bike (or car). The campsite offers a wonderful camping spot with all the basics you need: clean sanitary facilities, a beautiful pitch, a stunning location (with a view of the water or a meadow with sheep), and electricity. Add to that a warm welcome from Jetty, and you're guaranteed a wonderful holiday. The surrounding area offers plenty to keep you entertained!

The campsite is very clean and comfortable. There are shower places with hot water and toilets with toilet paper. Sinks for dishes are available outside the washroom. I like the most is the beautiful sunset view and the peaceful ground for camping. The owner Jetty is very kind and who likes birds and nature a lot. She provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area. She even gave me a special gift of her pet’s feather. I wish I could have a longer time staying in this place.

Let me put it this way - my wife and I have been travelling with our camping van for 6 years now and we have never met a host this heartful, welcoming and friendly. From the first phonecall on we felt welcome and we had a really good time there. We loved our view on the old windmill, the little river passing by and the peaceful atmosphere on this special place. Thanks for sharing your beautiful land with us!
