The owners are super friendly, but the "campsite," if you can even call it that, is really in need of a thorough overhaul. The mobile homes look sad and messy. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the overall appearance also needs some care and attention. The pitches are small, and you're very close together. The small footbridge over the ditch between the camping field and the sanitary facilities is really due for replacement; it's been patched up with whatever was available, and it doesn't look very promising. In stronger winds, the windmill, which is located next to the plot, makes a tremendous amount of noise. And something the owner can't do anything about, but the enormous swarms of mosquitoes of all shapes and sizes, searching for blood in the evenings, were driving me crazy.

Nice sanitary facilities, friendly owners. View over meadows. Within cycling distance of Franeker. There were a lot of flies (time of year? No idea). July 2021.
