Relatively quiet, pretty, spacious, mostly friendly. And a lot of nature. Many of those who are here come back every year, which gives a feeling that everyone knows each other.

I was on a trip, and the route passed by a campsite, so I thought I’d grab a bite. Unfortunately, huge disappointment – the guy at the food truck told me "pizza only tonight," and I couldn’t order anything else. I don’t get why this route exists if there’s nothing available, and food is only served at certain times. Definitely not recommending this place, I wasted my time and the hunger remained. 1 star is the most I can give.

We came across this site by chance, and then discovered it was one of the top twenty campsites in Europe. We had a riverside pitch for our first two nights in Europe and loved the peace and quiet, as well as the friendliness of everyone. The bar is lovely, and the pizzas looked good, although we didn’t try one. We were so impressed that we booked our night prior to our return ferry!
