Nice location for a few nights. The nearby village is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful location, that's for sure. The pitches are also well-maintained and spacious enough. The electricity is very modern and well-organized. A neat campervan site. But that's where all the positivity ended for me. What a terribly impersonal reception (there was no one there, just a bunch of instructions on a piece of paper) and a money changer and a mountain of silly notes and warnings posted everywhere in the kitchen, toilet, and shower area. The showers were also very substandard considering the asking price. Two semi-open cubicles for both men and women (no separation), one cubicle without heating (really, in winter) and lukewarm water for which you also had to pay two euros. No, this campervan site, once but never again. What kind of people come there that you have to post such notes everywhere with warnings and even threaten with fines?!? Who don't even grant you a hot shower? I don't think the owner understands how things are supposed to be. And his comment below proves that once again. So, especially for them, the explanation. Campervan people generally have EVERYTHING on board. So do we. However, we occasionally crave a little comfort and then we'll just slide into a campervan site. This is FOR A WARM AND COMFORTABLE SHOWER. Power and the amenities to get our own little place back in order. Then we can get back on track. So, the EXTRA costs we incur are for the comfort. We're always willing to pay extra for that. I wouldn't be surprised if I said 4 euros for a shower, and 5 euros for a night's power is perfectly fine. But then it has to be good. You could say it's clean and new. True... BUT ICE COLD, even though you call yourself a winter campsite. No heater on. And then there's the MIXED WATER, you don't even have the option to adjust the heat yourself. In my opinion, you're a cheapskate. And thanks, you're just lining your pockets. But again, the owner's reaction speaks volumes. Too arrogant to listen to constructive criticism. Fine, you have enough people from Europe. But not us anymore.

A very good and clean campsite. The pitches are large and half grassy. Dogs can roam directly into the woods. Roemond is a 30-minute bike ride away.
