The campsite is beautifully situated. Unfortunately, it's not within walking distance of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, as the website indicates. There are nice restroom facilities, a small shop where you can buy basic groceries, and a cozy bar with a terrace. The downside is that people sit outside until late (12:30 AM), chatting and laughing loudly. Now, we're not complainers and quite enjoy a bit of activity, but there was nowhere to find a quiet spot during the day. Lots of screaming children who weren't corrected by their parents, and noisy people on the terrace. It's a very familiar atmosphere, so that speaks volumes.
