During my four-day hike from Kalmthout to Ouddorp, I briefly sheltered from the rain here to eat my food in the dry, dry off a bit, and use the restroom. The very friendly people invited me in. There, the man of the house gave me a delicious cup of tea, and when the lady of the house came in a little later, I was offered some food as well (two rolls with cheese). Afterward, we had a nice chat over another cup of tea, and eventually, it turned into almost an hour. I was able to continue my hike in good spirits (and with dry pants). Thank you for your hospitality!
