We stayed for a two night weekend getaway for my husband’s birthday with our 10 month baby. The location is wonderful, peaceful, quiet, and far from the city, but unfortunately the cabin didn’t feel worth the price. There was no real welcome when we arrived, and no one was there to greet us, only reception for the area, I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs before, usually the owner is there to welcome guests or at least sends someone they trust, so this felt a bit disappointing. The owner had left a few toys, which was thoughtful of her, but they hadn’t been cleaned or cleaned properly and at this age our baby puts everything in his mouth. There were also no basic welcome amenities such as bottle of water or fruits basket, For 500€, we expected a bit more. There is a list for you to make sure that everything is clean after you leave!!! I mean we are paying for what exactly ..? The hot tub and sauna both require wood to heat, and only one bag was provided. We ended up needing five bags just for the hot tub, and extra bags cost 10€ each. The owner did offer them to us complimentary, which we appreciated, but still, it felt a bit unreasonable. You have to wait atleast 4 hours for the hot tub to be warm. Overall, we enjoyed our family time together, but the experience didn’t fully live up to the price or expectations.

We rent one of the house in here. The house is very clean and furnish. The area is very calm and nice. We had a good time stay here. The area is close to the city centre of Hoorn and not far from Volendam.

All are perfect, the only few things… 1. Additional payment for shower, no understandable 2. Washing machine and Drier cost 11:50€ this is really expensive, and you have only a big machines, I will suggest to put one small for people that travelling with tents and bicycle, small machine will reduce also costs for this service. Nevertheless we will 100% come back! Thanks
