Camping Bakkum was our very first camping experience with our caravan, and it couldn’t have been a better start! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The pitches are spacious and surrounded by beautiful nature, giving us a real feeling of peace and freedom. We also filmed our caravan tour video for YouTube there. We're staying at beach hut with small kids (below 5yrs old). If you're here in the summer, the hut gets way too hot, no shadow, no way to keep the heat out, it's like an oven. The interior feels like it needs an update / refresher. I believe we paid around 250 a night which is too expensive for what you get as a very basic accommodation. Everyone seemed quite friendly but this isn't the right value for us.

We had such an amazing time at Camping Bakkum! We spent 3 nights in one of the Panorama Tents Deluxe. The camp site is huge and there are so many activities to do, for both adults and children, that you will never find yourself bored. The camp site is right next to walking/running/cycling trails and it’s a short 15 minute walk to the beach. But the most impressive thing about Camping Bakkum are the staff. They were ALL so friendly and welcoming. From the staff at the front reception, to the staff at the shops, cafes and restaurants - they ALL really made our stay so enjoyable. Unfortunately I even misplaced something that belonged to Camping Bakkum and I was so shocked that they didn’t even want to charge me for it. Their response was “It’s okay.. these things happen!” We had such a wonderful time with our family and friends, and we will definitely be back again! Thanks Camping Bakkum!
