Quiet Park. This park was smaller than some of the other Roompot parks we have visited in the past. The design of the park is great, giving each bungalow lots of privacy. We enjoyed the dune reserve near the Park, Lots of excellent cycle routes.

Family- & Dog friendly caravan camping experience! The Kustpark Egmond aan Zee is a mixed vacation park. There is an apartment hotel out in the front, but also a camping with a range of caravan spots. I visited the caravan camping with family off season and with my dog. The facilities are very clean and tidy, though there are a bit few around the camping, so my parents used their bikes to use the restrooms or showers. For seniors this is a bit inconvenient, to be honest. For visitors, there are very few parking lots out in the front for 2h-parking. At the Entrance, you are not allowed to temporarily park, but the reception is on the other side of the camping - or it’s not sufficiently shown where to go. We also visited the bistro or little restaurant. My partner had the largest Burger patty he’s ever seen 😁 ! The food was good for the price. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant and they have a kids playground outside. Living in this area, I can confirm that airplane noise is a problem here (but generally around the area of Egmond and Castricum aan Zee). Schiphol has unfortunately changed their flight routes and therefore about every 3-5 minutes there is a plane flying by. Not every time, but some reviews say you can’t understand your own words if it happens and that’s true. Overall I would give this park a 3-star rating, because of the slightly unnecessary complications during the check-in, the distance to restrooms and showers and the plane noise. The Location and Service receives 4-stars!! The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful and the facilities are sparkly clean! Moreover, close by there is a hidden private dune park with little vegetable gardens where you can buy fresh seasonal food grown in the dune sand!

A very busy and successful holiday park. It's not my kind of thing so it was with some misgivings we rolled up at the access barrier with our campervan looking for a one night stay. Found my way to the reception, a 5- minute walk. Reception was closed. The one helpful member of staff was busy serving in the restaurant and said he didn't understand the booking in system but would tell his colleague who was working in the kitchen. 5 minutes later he came back to say that I couldn't be attended to and to come back in half an hour. We went to find somewhere more welcoming.
