It was great fun again at Theo's campsite. We had a perfect spot again. Nice chatting with everyone, good sanitary facilities, and a lovely bike ride (5 km) to the beach. We will be back.

Great, quiet farm campsite. There are pitches by the canal or on the green meadow, out of reach of the canal. For children, there's a small but lovely playground with a slide, swings, two giant trampolines sunk into the ground, go-karts, and an enclosure with chickens and rabbits. The sanitary facilities are rather basic, but complete and clean. The showers are free, as is Wi-Fi and electricity (6A?). Instead of a reception, there's a bell, and the site operators will come by from the neighboring farm area. If they don't answer the bell, their cell phone numbers are in the anteroom of the washroom. After a short period of getting used to it, the system works really well. You don't get a run-of-the-mill solution here; the operators are very friendly, patient, and really make an effort to solve our problems. Wow! Due to the location of the site, bicycles are highly recommended. They take you to the beach in about 20 minutes and to Anna Paulowna train station in about 30 minutes.

Last sunny weekend in the absolutely packed Netherlands, we were almost ready to give up after many unsuccessful campsite inquiries. This campsite was also supposed to be full. However, the friendly lady at reception managed to find us a great spot. We were thrilled, and so was our dog ;) The campsite's location is good – just a short bike ride or drive to the beach. There's also a large, free car park and very good beach bars that are reasonably priced for the Netherlands. We'd love to come back!
