The two of us stayed in a small bungalow with a sauna, whirlpool, bathtub, and infrared shower. There was a well-equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and microwave/oven) and a TV with Netflix. Everything was very well-maintained and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We each received a large and a small towel and a bathrobe. The whirlpool was wonderfully warm and enjoyable both with and without the bubbles. We also had a lovely view of a stream and fields with sheep. There was a small outdoor sofa on the terrace. The service was excellent (all our questions were answered quickly via WhatsApp, and there was an app with all the important information), and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shopping options nearby if you have a car. There's a bread delivery service in the mornings, and there's also a small shop in the village. We also took an afternoon trip to Deventer, which was well worth it. It's a charming little town with many lovely shops, both large and small. We will definitely come back when we need to relax.

We stayed at pitch 78, which had a private sanitary block. The block was generally clean and functional. Hot water was available and delivered quickly; however, the water pressure dropped significantly very rapidly while showering, until only a weak trickle came out of the showerhead. Completely inadequate for a relaxing shower. It's a shame that this well-known problem has been reported by other guests several times but hasn't been fixed. The pitch is located directly on the main road and is still quite quiet. Unfortunately, some drivers behave as if they were on the Nürburgring in the Eifel region, going well over 10 km/h. Another major problem: Pitch 78 has two large oak trees that shed masses of leaves and acorns in the autumn. Our caravan roof ended up looking like a crumb cake. This needs to be addressed. Pitches like this simply shouldn't be allocated during the season. The electrical supply is also disappointing: With only a 10-amp fuse, it's barely enough to run the refrigerator and convection oven simultaneously – the refrigerator then beeps merrily because the fuse blows. This is unacceptable for a modern campsite. On the positive side: The site as a whole is beautifully designed, spacious, and well-maintained. Hiking in the adjacent nature reserves is highly recommended. The restaurant impresses with delicious beers, soft drinks, and a great winter menu – it's well worth a visit. Conclusion: A nice campsite with potential, but pitch 78, in its current state, is unfortunately not recommended.
I had a bitter experience with this campsite. I booked a room on booking.com at one price, but the campsite management demanded I pay a tourist tax that wasn't listed on the website. I also didn't fill out the form that required me to provide the details of the people staying at the hotel (for some reason, I didn't fill out the form, as I could have done so upon check-in). I was denied check-in!!! Absolutely unacceptable behavior!!! I do not recommend!!!
