About camping in Twente
The east of Overijssel: country estates, old farmhouses and low hills, with Enschede, Hengelo and Almelo close by for a rainy day. Campsites stand between the fields and woods rather than along a coast, so it stays calmer than the Veluwe in high season. Good cycling country, with signposted routes that cross into Germany.
