We had a fantastic weekend in May. The weather was beautiful, and we loved being outdoors. Our children had a great time, and it was a lovely experience for them to sleep in a vintage wagon. We felt very welcome; we'd love to come back! We also made a trip to the zoo in Emmen, which is conveniently close by.

The location is beautiful and the concept really appeals to me; the place definitely has a lot of potential and distinguishes itself through originality and atmosphere. However, during my stay, I also experienced a few points of concern. The caravan I stayed in was not clean upon arrival: there was a clear layer of dust, and there were cobwebs and flattened insects everywhere. Unfortunately, this made for a less comfortable start to the stay. Additionally, the sanitary facilities were not cleaned during my stay, which I felt was a loss. Another point of concern was the interaction with the owner. Although hospitality is important, I noticed that she regularly joined us for meals and drinks without an invitation. To me, this felt less appropriate in the context of privacy and personal space. After this was pointed out, it was acknowledged. In summary: a unique place with many possibilities, but where improvements are still possible regarding cleanliness and safeguarding guest privacy. With some extra attention to these points, this concept would come into its own even more.
